Upon obtaining her LL.B (Hons) in year 2005, Julie Ng Mei Quen chambered with the Firm under the supervision of Dato’ Desmond Ng. After she was called to the Bar in 2007, she continued to practice with the Firm and she is made a partner in 2022. Due to the early years of training by Dato’ Desmond, Julie has developed a strong grasp in different fields as she was trained to handle various types of litigation cases, in particular in the area of family disputes, matrimonial laws, probates, estate administration, execution cases, auctions, land acquisitions as well as other commercial and civil litigation cases and which she had conducted numerous hearings and full trials with favaourable outcomes for the Firm’s clients.
Besides handling litigation cases under Dato’ Desmond, Julie is also handling the conveyancing matters under our Bentong office. Julie has vast knowledge and hands-on experience in handling both commercial and residential properties for property development projects and also sub-sale property transactions. She also has experience in both conventional and Islamic loans and has handled loans for various banks such as Public Bank Berhad, Hong Leong Islamic Bank Berhad, Alliance Bank Berhad, CIMB Bank Berhad, CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad, UOB Bank Berhad and Standard Chartered Bank Berhad. Julie has stopped handling litigation cases in year 2017 as she has been assigned to be the head of conveyancing department by Dato’ Desmond, wherein Julie assisted Dato’ Desmond in overseeing all the conveyancing matters for the Firm’s head office and Bentong office’s clients. Julie also has experience in handling commercial matters wherein she is conversant in joint venture agreements, share sale agreements and shareholders agreements. Julie has also advised clients in construction agreements and building of plants.
