John Wong Yok Hon graduated from University of Warwick, United Kingdom in 1991 with LLB. Honours (Upper Class). He had then secured his Certificate of Legal Practice in 1993 and completed his pupillage under the guidance of Tan Sri Zaki Tun Azmi, whom prior to his ascension to the position of Chief Justice of Malaysia was then a senior partner in the firm of Messrs Rashid & Lee. John then joined the firm Messrs Choong Yik Son & Fiona Ghaus for a short stint before moving to the firm of Messrs Azim, Tunku Farik & Wong on 6 June 1994. He subsequently became a partner in Messrs. Azim, Tunku Farik & Wong from 1 January 2002 until 31 May 2016 prior to joining Messrs Shui-Tai. He has been actively involved in the practice of commercial and civil litigation since his admission as an advocate and solicitor to the Malaysian Bar in 1994 and has vast experience in many fields including banking, insurance and corporate.
